PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a lens barrel compact by connecting the lens barrel to a fixing member without increasing the number of components of a lens holding frame. SOLUTION: By positioning the elastic locking claw 1a of a front lens barrel 1 to a recess 3a formed around a slit of a fixing lens barrel 3 and then pushing the claw 1a into the recess 3c, the elastic locking claw 1a moves over a hooking part 3d, and a notch 1b locks on the hooking part 3d. Consequently, the front lens barrel 3 is connected to the fixing lens barrel 3 in the direction of an optical axis, and also pressed in the direction of the optical axis by elastic arms 1d. While a quantity and direction of inclination of the front lens barrel 1 are measured by measuring devices, the required part of a flange portion 1c is pushed in the direction of the optical axis with a jig or the like by an amount of inclination adjustment. Thus, the inclination of the optical axis is adjusted. By applying an adhesive between them after the adjustment, the front lens barrel 1 is made to adhere and fixed to the fixing lens barrel 3.
