PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve capable of quickly exhausting fuel vapor when opening a valve. SOLUTION: This relief valve is arranged in an exhaust passage of the fuel vapor, and exhausts the fuel vapor in a fuel tank to the exhaust passage when pressure in the fuel tank becomes a predetermined value or more, and has a valve element storage part 70, an opening part 74 formed on one end of the valve element storage part 70, a slide cylinder 80 arranged in the valve element storage part 70, a valve element 90 formed on one end of the slide cylinder 80 and opening-closing the opening part 74, and a spring 95 supporting one end by the valve element storage part 70, supporting the other end by the slide cylinder 80, pressing the valve element 90 to the opening part 74 side and always elastically energizing so as to close the opening part 74. A spring receiving part 85 supporting the other end of the spring 95, is formed in the middle of the slide cylinder 80. A slipping-out hole 87 is formed between the valve element 90 and the spring receiving part 85 by cutting out a part of a cylindrical wall 81. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
