PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dust including harmful microbes stuck to the inner wall of a suction hose or the like in a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: a motor-driven blower 5 with suction force capable of sucking the dust together with air; a dust collecting chamber 6 for housing the sucked dust; a suction hose 7 communicating with the motor-driven blower 5 at one end and with a suction port body 30 at the other end and having recessed and projection parts in the longitudinal direction of the outer peripheral surface; and a dust removing tool 18 provided movably on the outer peripheral surface of the suction hose 7 and having an impact element 29 that collides with the projection part of the recessed and projection parts.
