PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basal body temperature table and a scale which highly facilitate the visual recognition of the childbearing timing and the subsequent starting date of menses even as for menstrual cycles varied personally. SOLUTION: The basal body temperature table has a date column covering the date over prescribed weeks extending sideways in a strip, a body temperature plot column and a menstrual cycle column and daily remark items arranged by a plurality of equal-interval vertical broken lines extending crossing each column. A prescribed color which enables the identification of a horizontal line at 36.70°C to allow a quick reference of high- and low-temperature periods and other horizontal lines are given at an interval per prescribed temperature. The scale used for it extends parallel sideways corresponding to the plurality of menstrual cycles and is made transparent or semitransparent to include marks respectively for the starting date of menses, the childbearing period and the subsequent menses date. By matching the mark for the starting date of menses of the scale with the actual starting date of menses written in the basal body temperature table, this enables the visual recognition of the childbearing period and the subsequent date of menses.
