PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curative agent for neuropathy, and to provide a method for screening the same. SOLUTION: The method for screening a curative agent for neuropathy comprises the step of culturing cells in the presence and in the absence of a test compound respectively, the step of measuring the expression levels of LMO3 gene in the respectively cultured cells, and the step of judging the test compound as the aimed curative agent for neuropathy when the expression level of the LMO3 gene in the cells cultured in the presence of the test compound is lower than that of the LMO3 gene in the cells cultured in the absence of the test compound.
