An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to form a reflector such that the reflector envelops the backside of a light guide plate, the outer side of a main support and the side of an LCD panel and comes into contact with the inner side of a bottom cover to protect the LCD panel and reduce the size and weight of the main support. An LCD includes a backlight assembly(104), a main support(105), an LCD panel(108), and a bottom cover(109). The backlight assembly includes a reflector(101) and a light guide plate(102). The main support houses the backlight assembly. The LCD panel is located on the main support and displays images. The bottom cover envelops the main support, the backlight assembly and the LCD panel. The reflector is arranged inside the bottom cover and envelops the rear side of the light guide plate, the outer side of the main support and the side of the LCD panel. |
