<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device having high developing capability and capable of preventing the generation of troubles such as image irregularities, staining with the lapse of time and toner splashing and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device (5) is provided with a photoreceptor (2) on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and a developing sleeve (23) arranged proximity or in contact with the photoreceptor (2) and supported so as to circulate the peripheral surface and constituted so that a developer for visualizing the electrostatic image is carried on the peripheral surface of the developing sleeve (23) and a toner image is formed by allowing the photoreceptor (2) to develop toner in an electric field formed by applying a developing bias voltage to space between the photoreceptor (2) and the developing sleeve (23); wherein, the developer is vibrated within a developing area where the toner is developed by the photoreceptor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
