<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the precise measurement of bloodstream in a biomedical tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The bloodstream measuring apparatus 10 for biomedical tissues comprises an optical probe 20, an XYZ moving mechanism 12 for moving the optical probe 20, an optical probe circuit 28 for operating the optical probe 20, a measuring part 30 which is connected to the optical probe circuit 28 and measures the bloodstream of biomedical tissues, and a control part 50. The measuring part 30 is connected in series to the optical probe 20 together with an amplifier and comprises a potential shift circuit which changes frequency to compensate a phase difference to zero when the phase difference is caused between the input waveform into the optical probe circuit 28 and the output waveform from it. Relationship between the variation of the frequency and the bloodstream of a biomedical tissue when the phase difference is compensated to zero is previously determined and the bloodstream in the biomedical tissue is calculated from the variation of the frequency that compensates the phase difference to zero as caused when a biomedical tissue as a specimen 8 is irradiated with light.
