PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of time consuming work, occurrence of an amount error, and necessity of storage without mix-up of a plurality of sets of change in preparation of change, which is composed of a combination of a plurality of denominations, for individual workers such as pizza delivery persons and taxi drivers carrying out work needing payment at destinations. SOLUTION: The money changer for changing into a rod-shaped coin roll is provided with: a first means producing and storing a coin roll of coins varied in domination and number by previously preparing a combination, which is composed of dominations and their number, equivalent to a change amount; a second means producing and storing a new coin roll of coins varied in domination and number decided by a designated combination of dominations and their number equivalent to the change amount; and a third means for making a selection between the first and second means for paying a desired coin roll of coins varied in dominations and their number.
