PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a contact, capable of easily increasing a height of the contact in order to widen a movable area of the contact. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the contact 1A comprises: forming a metal ground layer 3 on a surface 2a of an insulation layer 2 at the start (figure 3A); drawing the metal ground layer from the insulation layer 2 side into the form of a cone by using a male mold 20 (figure 3B); forming a conical / spiral plating as a metal spring layer 5 on a surface 3c of the metal ground layer 3 (figure 3E); and then obtaining the conical / spiral contact 1A by removing the unnecessary portion of the metal ground layer (figure 3F). Since the metal ground layer 3 is formed conically by using the deep drawing, the height of the contact 1A is increased easily. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
