PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of preventing a magnet from shifting in position when and after forming a holder for holding the magnet. SOLUTION: The liquid level detector 1 includes a body frame 4 made of a synthetic resin material, the holder 5 rotatably supported on the frame 4, a float arm 7 mounted on the holder 5 and including a float 6 following displacement of a liquid level, the annular magnet 8 provided on the holder 5, rotating associated with the action of the float 6 and including a through hole 8a, and a detection element 9 for detecting a change in magnetism associated with the rotation of the magnet 8.
