摘要 Provided is a scroll compressor whose compression efficiency can be improved by optimizing mesh gaps at steps during operation of the compressor. The scroll compressor with stepped members has a step mesh gap set value (Hf) produced between side faces of a step between a connection wall surface (12h) of a fixed scroll (12) and a connection edge (13e) of a rotary scroll (13), and also has a step mesh gap set value (Ho) produced between side faces of a step between a connection wall surface (13h) of the rotary scroll (13) and a connection edge (12e) of the fixed scroll (12). The step mesh gap set value (Hf in the example shown in the figure) reduced when the rotary scroll (13) is tilted by being subjected to gas pressure during the operation is set greater than the other (Ho in the figure) increased when the rotary scroll is tilted.
