The present invention provides compositions comprising hydrolyzed gelatin or a mixture of hydrolyzed gelatin and gelatin, and methods comprising administering a low dose of the compositions useful in prophylaxis and treatment of hair loss in humans and shedding in animals. The compositions provide a palatable, malleable and well-tolerated product. |
