A steel band for a steering apparatus is provided to keep constant fastening force of the steel band and to prevent water from penetrating into a bellows by forming a hook on one surface of the steel band and a hook groove to fix the hook. A steel band(300) of a steering apparatus for combining a bellows(180) with a rack housing(160) comprises: a fastening part(330) that is formed on one surface of the steel band and fastens a band part(310), and a notch(350) formed on one side of the band part so as to keep fastening force of the band part constant.
