The present invention relates to an antibody or antigen-binding fragment, or a variant, fusion or derivative thereof, for use in medicine, wherein the antibody or antigen-binding fragment, variant, fusion or derivative thereof has binding specificity for an integrinα11 subunit, or a heterodimer thereof. In particular, the invention relates to the use of such antibodies or antigen-binding fragments, variants, fusions or derivatives thereof, in the treatment of inflammatory disorders such as arthritic diseases (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis).
