<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide injector mounting structure for a V-type internal combustion engine with reduced number of parts and excellent in assembling property. <P>SOLUTION: In the V-type internal combustion engine, an intake manifold is disposed between V-banks. In the injector mounting structure for the V-type internal combustion engine, a fuel supply pipe 21 straightly extending to be in parallel with a crankshaft is disposed between the V-banks, a pair of injectors 30f, 30r is branched from two branched parts P, Q separated from an axial direction of the fuel supply pipe 21 so that the injectors are branched in a chevron shape in a side view seen from the axial direction of the fuel supply pipe, and are obliquely extended to be in parallel with each other at an acute angle α with respect to a line segment PQ connecting the branched part P, Q in a top view. Each of tip parts 30ft, 30rt of the pair of injectors 30f, 30r is respectively fitted to and inserted into mounting holes 14f, 14r formed to intake pipes 12f, 12r on each side of the intake manifold so as to mount the injectors 30f, 30r. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
