<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and selectively input choices while suppressing the labor and time of the operation of a user. <P>SOLUTION: This printer 2 is configured to display a partial array in an array following the sequence of a plurality of character information having a predetermined sequence on an LCD 20 so that the displayed partial array can be changed according to an input operation, and that choices can be input from the partial array.
