<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce gear noise caused when stopping an engine by an engine stopping means. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission device is provided with the engine stopping means 33 composed to stop rotation of the engine 11, a clutch booster 27 composed to engage/disengage a clutch 12, and a clutch actuator 20 controlling the clutch booster 27. The clutch actuator 20 is composed to operate the clutch booster 27 and disengage the clutch 12 when the engine 11 is stopped by the engine stopping means 33.
