<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration device capable of self sustaining operation even if an external exhaust heat carrying circuit laid out between the device and an external heat load fails in interruption of electrical power. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with an engine 2, a motor generator 5 driven by the engine 2, an exhaust heat collecting circuit 7 collecting exhaust heat of the engine and transmitting exhaust heat to the external exhaust heat carrying circuit, a branched path 10 branching off of the exhaust heat collecting circuit 7 and merging to the exhaust heat collecting circuit 7 again, a heat radiating radiator 11 provided on the branch path 10, and a selector valve 15 provided on a branch point 103 on the exhaust heat collecting circuit 7 and changing over to the branch path 10 in self sustaining operation. The device includes a portable unit including a connection terminal 810 for self sustaining operation electric power input, a boosting controller 813, and an emergency plug socket 88 for self sustaining operation electric power output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
