OPTICAL SENSOR AND PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor easy to manufacture and having measuring precision, and a physiological data measuring instrument.

SOLUTION: The optical sensor 501 is constituted so that a light emitting element 15 and a light detection element 17 are mounted on one insulating substrate 11 and only the light detection element 17 among the light emitting element 15 and the light detection element 17 is covered with a cap 13 for the light detection element 17 having slading properties. The cap 13 for the light detection element 17 is provided with an incident window 19b permitting the scattering light of the emitted light from the light emitting light 15 to pass and a light deflection surface 19a for reflecting the light from the light emitting light 15 to the area above the insulating substrate 11.
