PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus with a stroboscope capable of easily performing photographing at various angles without changing an angle of the hand holding the apparatus or exchanging the hand. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises a photographing section 2 including a lens unit 4 and a display section 3 including a display means 3a for displaying thereon an image photographed by the photographing section 2, wherein an infrared data transceiver 65 is provided and this infrared data transceiver 65 is capable of transmitting to an external device the image photographed by the photographing section 2.
