PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a resin molding which prevents the lowering of the followability of a blow-molded article to the inner wall of a mold while foaming a foamable resin by the enlargement of a cavity on the basis of the mold action of the mold. SOLUTION: The molten foamable resin 70 is supplied into the blow-molded article 41 in the mold 4. After that, the cavity 27 is enlarged on the basis of the mold action of the mold 4, and the blow-molded article 41 is expanded on the basis of foaming by the molten foamable resin 70. Before the enlargement of the cavity 27 on the basis of the mold action of the mold 4, on the basis of the mold 4, in the blow-molded article 41, one part on the side of the enlargement of the cavity 27 is retracted inside the blow-molded article 41 from the other part on the same side to form a retracted part 41a in the blow-molded article 41. When the cavity 27 is enlarged on the basis of the mold action of the mold 4, the retracted part 41a is expanded to make it follow the inner wall of the mold 4 exactly.
