PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object with a power supply device, which can be used for an external apparatus continuously used for a long time and can move to an arbitrary place. SOLUTION: The power supply device 3 is mounted on a carriage 2 capable of traveling on the floor, the power supply device 3 being provided with a plurality of removable batteries 16, 17; a battery switch 37 capable of connecting the batteries 16, 17 while switching them; an output section 19 for supplying the power of the batteries 16, 17 connected using the battery switch 37 to an external apparatus 5; power sensors 47, 48 for detecting power capacity of the batteries 16, 17; and a control section 33 for controlling the battery switch 37 on the basis of detection information from the power sensors 47, 48.
