PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an imaging apparatus which can record the image of shutter chance without being forced to perform complicated work after photography recording, and to obtain its program. SOLUTION: When a shutter button is half pushed, continuous shooting pick-up processing is started (S10), and image data thus picked up are stored sequentially in a buffer memory (S11). A processing for reading out the image data stored in the buffer memory at a set slow display speed and displaying it in the display region of an image display section 15 is started (S12), and a processing for reading out the image data stored in the buffer memory in real time and displaying it in the display region B of the image display section 15 is also started (S13).
