SOFT MAGNETIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft magnetic composite material that is ideal for a core in a reactor without providing any gaps and has low relative permeability and saturation magnetic flux density. SOLUTION: The soft magnetic composite material has soft magnetic powder and resin including the powder in a dispersed state. The average grain size of the soft magnetic powder should be less than 0.1-5μm. Saturation magnetic flux density Bs in the soft magnetic composite material is 0.2-0.8 T, and the relative permeabilityμis less than 5.5. By using such soft magnetic powder having a fine average grain size, the soft magnetic composite material having low saturation flux density and relative permeability can be composed. By composing a core M with such a composite material, a magnetic element (reactor R) where the core M is integral with a coil C can be obtained easily. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
