PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition device, electronic device, image recognition method, control program, and record medium, wherein face recognition is accelerated. SOLUTION: Table data for storing a plurality of pieces of comparison information respectively used for a plurality of face images and a plurality of expression information identifying respective face images by making both information correlated with each other is created, and comparison order of the comparison information is set up on the basis of the expression information respectively corresponding to the comparison information in the table data. In this case, an appearance frequency for each expression is calculated on the basis of the plurality of the expression information in the table data, and the comparison order of the comparison information is set up at the order of appearance frequencies.
