PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic composition which imparts a light slipping touch, a non-heavy collected touch, and the like, to hair. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic composition is characterized by containing a both terminal long chain alkyl amino-modified polyorganosiloxane represented by general formula: MD<SB>x</SB>D'<SB>y</SB>M [wherein M is a siloxane unit represented by general formula: R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP><SB>2</SB>SiO<SB>0.5</SB>; D is a siloxane unit represented by general formula: R<SP>2</SP><SB>2</SB>SiO; D' is a siloxane unit represented by general formula: R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>SiO; R<SP>1</SP>is a 16-50C alkyl; R<SP>2</SP>is a substituted or non-substituted 1-6C hydrocarbon group; R<SP>3</SP>is 3-aminopropyl and/or N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyl; (x) is 1 to 2,000; (y) is a value of 1 to 100].
