PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting body with which the relative position of a supported object such as a top board or the like against a base can be easily and accurately changed. SOLUTION: This supporting body has a switching mechanism 4E which can switch between a movement restricted state in which abutment bodies 4A and 4B are made to abut on standing walls 21a and 22b of rail grooves 21 and 22 prior to rolling bodies 4C and 4D, and a movement permission state in which the abutment state of the abutment bodies 4A and 4B are released and the rolling bodies 4C and 4D are spliced to the standing walls 21a and 22b of the rail grooves 21 and 22.
