METHOD FOR OBTAINING MICROORGANISM BY USING MEDIUM CONTAINING COCONUT JUICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for screening industrially useful and novel microorganisms by developing a revival technique applicable to microorganisms in the various state of VBNC (viable but not culturable) and applying the technique to obtain microorganisms from the natural world. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the technique for obtaining microorganisms having features that a microorganism which exists in the natural world and is viable but is in a nonculturable state is cultured in a nutritive medium containing more than 0.5 mL/L of the internal solution of coconut fruit (coconut juice) and the microorganism is separated from the medium.
