PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a door locking control which makes safety and convenience compatible by properly judging the environment in the lateral direction of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicular locking control apparatus 200 is provided with lateral direction monitoring means 120, 122L, R, and 124L, R for monitoring the lateral direction of the vehicle, a stop detection means 132 for detecting the stop of the vehicle, and a control means 100 for controlling the door locking devices 110FR, 110FL, 110RR, and 110RL. The control means makes the door at the road shoulder or the sidewalk side to be in an unlocked state by controlling the door locking devices when the stop of the vehicle is detected by the stop state detection means and the road shoulder or the sidewalk is detected in the lateral direction of the vehicle by the lateral direction monitoring means.
