PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degassing implement which is attached to a bag filled with asbestos and discharges air in the bag alone, without any leakage of the harmful scattering asbestos, so as to reduce the volume of the bag. SOLUTION: The degassing implement 1 consists of a hollow cylindrical piercing section 22 which has a pinnacle-shaped tip 28, an opening 25 at the end and a hole 27 in the side surface and a plate section 11 to be attached to the end of the piercing section 22. A filter member 13 consisting of an HEPA filter is arranged between the body member 11 and the cover member 12. When the degassing implement 1 is attached to a bag filled with asbestos and the bag is pressed, air containing the scattering asbestos is filtered with the filter member 13, allowing the air in the bag alone to be discharged without any leakage of the harmful scattering asbestos in order to reduce the volume of the bag.
