POLARIZING JUNCTION GLASS AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A polarizing junction glass and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) having the same are provided to form a polarizing device between two glasses of the polarizing junction glass, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost. A second glass plate is located oppositely to a first glass plate. A polarizing device is located between the first and second glass plates. Reflection preventive coating or hard coating are performed at a surface or both surfaces of the polarizing junction glass. A substrate(230) includes a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) device. A backlight assembly is formed at the lower portion of the substrate and supplies the light beam. The substrate has a COA(Color filter On Array) structure. The reflection preventive coating or the hard coating are performed at the first glass substrate of the polarizing junction glass. A transparent conduction layer is formed between the second glass plate and the liquid crystal layer.
