<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular fluorescent lamp capable of securing insulation of a lead wire connected to an electrode inside a base and has a structure in which non-light-emitting part of the lamp is not conspicuous. <P>SOLUTION: The annular fluorescent lamp is provided with an annular arc tube 1 having a space portion 7 between the opposed end parts 19, 20, branch tubes 2 as a power supply part which are respectively formed in the same direction at both opposed end parts 19, 20 and have a lead wire 6, a base 8 which has a base lead terminal 9 connected respectively to the lead wire 6, and is installed covering the power supply part 2 at a position excluding at least a portion on the opposed side to the same direction of the both opposed end parts 19, 20, and electrodes 4, 5 which are respectively arranged in the opposed both end parts 19, 20 and are connected to the lead wires 6 respectively.
