LIGHT EMITTING SHEET UNIT AND ILLUMINATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting sheet unit in which the increase and decrease in the longitudinal direction of light emitting sheets and the flat increase and decreases in sheet units consisting of the light emitting sheets and relay members are possible.

SOLUTION: There are provided: the light emitting sheet 12 that has electrode patterns extending in a longitudinal direction, and consists of belt-like sheet materials 13 having connecting terminal sections 16 at the ends and a plurality of LEDs 15 arranged at every prescribed intervals on the electrode patterns; and the relay member 21 which has branch terminal sections 23 connectable to the connecting terminal sections 16 and branch electrode sections having a pair of open terminal 24a, 24b, extending from one open terminal section 24a toward the other open terminal section 24b and the branch terminal section 23.
