PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone enabling a user to select operation to be performed when the remaining capacity of a battery becomes small without disturbing user's television watching.

SOLUTION: The mobile phone 100 includes: an area decision unit 110 which decides whether a displayable area other than a display area for a television image is present in the entire display area of a screen on the basis of information indicating the entire display area of a screen and information indicating the display area for the television image; a remaining capacity decision unit 170 which decides whether the electric energy of the battery 180 decreases to a first predetermined value or below; an image generation unit 130 which generates an image having a choice image for prompting the user to make a choice of whether the user continues to watch television arranged in the displayable area when the displayable area is present or an image having the choice image superimposed on the television image when the displayable area is not present when the remaining capacity decreases to the first predetermined value or below; and a display unit 140 which displays the image generated by the image generator 130 on the screen.
