<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain coating dispersion, for manufacturing a single layer-type self-coloring pressure-sensitive recording paper, which can be stably applied using a curtain coating device and is free from curtain cracks, and a single layer-type self-coloring pressure sensitive recording paper obtained by applying the coating dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: This curtain coating dispersion mainly includes a microcapsule encapsulating an electron-donating dye and an electron-accepting acidic substance, wherein the dispersion uses a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol with an average degree of polymerization of 500 to 1,400 and a degree of saponification of 76.0 to 97.0 mol%. The single layer-type self-coloring pressure sensitive recording paper obtained by applying the dispersion to a support, shows excellent coloring properties and stain resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
