<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous pigment dispersion providing an ink composition exhibiting good marker resistance when printed on plain paper, and good fixability when printed on glossy paper; and to provide the ink composition achieving the jetting of ink stable over a long period even in a thermal method requiring the stability of the pigment dispersion in the ink composition at a high temperature, and providing a printed product having a high optical density. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous pigment dispersion contains at least a pigment, a polyurethane and water. The diol component of 55-95 mol% in the whole diol components constituting the polyurethane is a dihydric alcohol represented by a specific chemical formula and having a carboxy group, and the diol component of 5-45 mol% is the one constituted of a structure derived from a siloxane compound having two hydroxy groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
