PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic spraying apparatus capable of effectively discontinuing the continuous film of sprayed droplets and being easily and surely cleaned. SOLUTION: A wire 12 for supplying voltage to an electrostatic spray part 6 is supported by booms 4, 5 with a wire holder 17 having electrical insulating property. The wire holder 17 is provided with an inner cylinder part 18 into which the wire 12 is inserted and an outer cylinder part 20 for forming a circular gap 19 having openings at both side in the length direction of the inner cylinder part 18. The sprayed droplets S charged by electrostatic spray hardly enter the circular gap 19 though being stuck to the exposed part of the wire 12 and the outer surface of the outer cylinder part 20. Thereby, the continuous film of the sprayed droplet S is discontinued in an annular gap 12 to prevent the voltage drop due to the short circuit and the leakage. The annular gap 19 is easily cleaned since both ends of the circular gap 19 are opened and are made to communicate over the whole length. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
