PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire manufacturing method capable of contributing to productivity. SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of (1) charging a green tire into the mold of a vulcanization apparatus a bladder 8 and the mold containing the bladder 8, (2) expanding the bladder 8 and (3) pressurizing and heating the green tire between the cavity surface of the mold and the bladder 8 to obtain a tire. The vulcanization apparatus 2 has a clamp 6 holding the bladder 8, and the clamp 6 has an upper ring located outside the bladder 8 and a lower ring 18 located inside the bladder 8. The outer peripheral surface 30 of the lower ring 18 has two or more recessed parts 32, and these recessed parts 32 are arranged along the circumferential direction of the lower ring 18.
