PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device for lighting which uses a coherent light source and capable of suppressing the effect of speckle with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In a coherent light source 2 consisting of a plurality of light emitting points, independent of each other, a plurality of coherent beams 3 emitted from the light emitting points are sufficiently multiplexed by providing a free propagation space 4 for reduced coherence as the entire light source, by utilizing the fact that the coherent beams 3 emitted from the light emitting points are in incoherent relationship each other.
