PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce engine sound by converting the engine sound of a vehicle which is collected in an engine room into the engine sound of another vehicle without impairing reality. SOLUTION: The engine sound reproducing device includes: an engine sound signal creating means for creating an engine sound signal for indicating engine sound which is collected in the engine room of the vehicle; a distortion means which is a means for adding distortion according to the number of engine rotation cycles and an operation speed of an accelerator pedal, to the engine sound signal, in which the engine sound signal generated by the engine sound signal creating means is divided by two, and nonlinear distortion in which distortion becomes larger as the operation speed of the accelerator pedal becomes slower, is added to one of them, and a ratio of the distortion added engine sound signal is set larger, as the number of the engine rotation cycles becomes larger, and added to the engine sound signal of the other, and the added sound signal is output; and a speaker which reproduces sound according to the engine sound signal, after receiving the engine sound signal output from the distortion means.
