PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a fixing device, which drives a cleaning mechanism and a mechanism to be cleaned, by one driving source and changes members to be driven, in accordance with rotation directions of the driving source to clean the mechanism to be cleaned only when needed. SOLUTION: The driving device of the fixing device, which includes a heat roller 22, a web 33 brought into contact with press contact with the heat roller 22 to clean it, and a take-up roller 35 for taking up the web 33 after cleaning, is provided with a motor 41 capable of changing the rotation direction, a first drive transmission means which comprises a plurality of gears and transmits a drive of the motor 41 to the heat roller 22, and a second drive transmission means which comprises a plurality of gears and transmits the drive of the motor 41 to the take-up roller 35. The second drive transmission means includes a first rotation control member 44 which performs control so as not to transmit the drive to the take-up roller 35 in the case of rotation of the motor 41 in a first direction for stopping the take-up roller 35 and so as to transmit the drive to the take-up roller 35 in the case of rotation of the motor 41 in a second direction for operating the take-up roller 35.
