PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an air curtain having high sterilizing effect to the outside air entering when a door of a refrigerating compartment of a refrigerator is opened, at a front opening of the refrigerating compartment. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator where the cold air cooled by a cooler is circulated to the refrigerating compartment and a freezing compartment by a blower for circulating the cold air, and the air curtain is formed at the front opening of the refrigerating compartment by driving a blower for air curtain when the door of the refrigerating compartment is opened, a sterilizing device producing electrolyzed water mist including hypochlorous acid by decomposing the tap water by electric current, is disposed, and the electrolyzed water mist produced by the sterilizing device is mixed in the air curtain.
