The invention relates to a linear guide, having an outer guide part (4, 4') and an inner guide part (3, 3') supporting each other via rolling bodies (2), wherein rolling body raceways (10, 10', 11, 11 ') are configured on the guide parts (3, 3', 4, 4'), the raceways forming closed rolling body channels (6) in the mounted state, in which continuously revolving rolling body rows (5) are accommodated. In order to enable a better ratio of load-bearing capacity and construction width on the linear guide, and simultaneously make the same as unsusceptible to production and operation related tolerances as possible, the rolling bodies (2) are configured according to the invention as ball rollers having two side faces that are each symmetrically flattened from a ball base shape, and that are disposed parallel to each other, and the rolling body channels (6) are configured as ball roller channels having support regions (8), return regions (9), and deflection regions, and a cross-sectional profile that is adjusted to the rolling bodies (2) configured as ball rollers. |
