905,894. Feeding tablets. EVANS MEDICAL Ltd. March 17, 1961 [April 20, 1960], No. 13766/60. Class 78 (1). Tablets for pathological purposes are released simultaneously from magazines 21. The discharge is made by a carrier 12 which is positioned between fixed plates 10 and 11 and rotates about axis 13. Plates 10, 11 and carrier 12 are each formed with a series of holes, the holes in plates 10 and 11 being displaced relative to each other. Magazines 21 fit into the hole 10b of plate 10 so that when holes 12a coincide with holes 10b a tablet drops from each magazine 21 into a hole 12a of the carrier and when carrier 12 is then displaced so that holes 11a and 12a coincide, the tablets then drop through holes 11a on to a culture dish. Carrier 12 is spring- biased at 23b and is operated by hand at 12b. The magazines 21 are carried by framework 17, 18 and are replaceable when spider 25 is withdrawn by releasing nuts 19 and 20.
