<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a digital calendar apparatus without depending on a personal computer by efficiently updating the date information of the digital calendar. <P>SOLUTION: The digital calendar apparatus is provided with a receiving means for receiving digital terrestrial television broadcasting data for portable equipment, a data processing means for processing the received data and generating calendar information in each week or month and a display means for displaying the generated calendar information. A data processing apparatus is provided with a means for acquiring current date information from digital terrestrial television broadcasting data, a means for generating calendar information in each week or month in which the acquired date information is included and a means for generating calendar picture information obtained by combining the calendar information generated by the second means and an optional image as a background image and displaying the calendar picture information on the display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
