<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the generation of memory full, then, efficiently storing data. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is provided with an image data storage means 300 and a storage area securing means for securing beforehand a prescribed storage area for storing image data and attribute data attached to the image data when storing the image data into the image data storage means 300. The image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a vacancy waiting means for waiting for the free capacity of the storage area to be a prescribed value or more when the prescribed storage area cannot be secured when securing the storage area for storing the image data and the attribute data; a failure processing means for performing processing for the time of a failure of securing the storage area when the prescribed storage area cannot be secured when securing the storage area for storing the image data and the attribute data; and a control means 310 for performing control of selecting one of the vacancy waiting means and the failure processing means in accordance with an image forming condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
