<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a program which carry out the segmentation of a domain to be excised by complete mediastinal lymphadenectomy to two or more zones. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a means which extracts a mediastinal image showing a domain to be excised by the complete mediastinal lymphadenectomy from a CT image, a means which extracts a blood vessel image from the CT image, a means which sets the artery as the first interface based on the blood vessel image, a means which sets at least one of interfaces in the axial direction attributed to anatomical features as the second interface based on the mediastinal image, a means which sets at least one interface along an intramediastinal structure attributed to anatomical features as the third interface based on the mediastinal image and a means which carries out the segmentation of the domain to be excised by the complete mediastinal lympnadenectomy to two or more zones using at least one of the first, second and third interfaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
