PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device and its method for notifying of a direction to a place by an output of an audible signal or a tactile signal corresponding to spatial positioning of the mobile electronic device. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic device 100 includes an input/output system 20, a navigation system 30, and a processor 10 connected so that the input/output system and the navigation system are put into the operable state. Under control of the processor, the input/output system outputs at least either of an audible direction designation signal and a tactile direction designation signal selected based on device location information determined by using the navigation system.
