PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in endurance and resistance to deterioration regardless of low heat build-up and suitable for an interlaminar rubber positioned between a carcass and an inner liner. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is obtained by (1) formulating 100 pts.mass rubber component containing 50-98 total mass% at least either one a natural rubber and a polyisoprene rubber and 2.0-15.0 mass% trans-polybutadiene rubber with 40-80 pts.mass carbon black having 20-70 m<SP>2</SP>/g nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (N<SB>2</SB>SA) and 60-130 mL/100 g DBP oil absorption and 3-14 pts.mass sulfur or (2) formulating 100 pts.mass rubber component containing 50-100 total mass% at least either one of the natural rubber and the polyisoprene rubber with 40-80 pts.mass carbon black having 20-70 m<SP>2</SP>/g N<SB>2</SB>SA and 60-130 mL/100 g DBP oil absorption, 3-14 pts.mass sulfur and 0.3-2.0 pts.mass heat-resistant crosslinking agent.
